Spark

These words may come as a surprise
or rather reassurance for what you ignore to feel inside
the thoughts that seep inside your mind
those words that wish to sooth you

the kind that doesn't say "i thought about you"
but the one that hides to say "i think about you still"
the words that shows no face
but longs to smile with you
in fear it skirms day by day to feel normal and subject

the thoughts that flow fluidly
and can never stop
but will always hide in the shadow of a day

to distract itself from everything that's you
for every normal reason
to hide itself in what was or what probably still is
in a parallel world

this time should not have been this way
when eternity stopped for but a second
to indulge a longer moment that became a lifetime
in the arms of another

poetry fits so well as our guise
look at what she's done to us
beautiful strangers in the day
as we lay together in the nights sky

all this to allow myself to say i miss you
all this to allow myself to say at this moment i do care
just to quickly feel that spark i knew
that spark i knew was you
