True season

Spoken in true season
The soul silently cried its tears
Dropped on the ears and hands of unfamiliar men
Coaxing words that lingered through the ages

Spoken in true season
Dwindling life in the throes of turmoil
Mine fields scatter as mind feels
Mind feels responsible for all hindrances

Spoken in true season
A restless soul finds peace
In what was first words of life
Are now life in words

Spoken in true season
Denouncements were favoured
Disgusting words to hear oneself utter
Though each syllable made sight clearer

Spoken in true season
A son stumbles in the SON
Clarion call in a chorus of voices
Called and now used to call more to bare

Spoken in true season
Serverance and death looms
Birthing new life and new seasons
Pain must be felt to redeem purpose

Spoken in true season
Shackles fall all around
New realisation of hinderances abound
The spirit fights to live all the way

Spoken in true season
Flesh dies again
Familiar feelings tried again
Lessons taught and tests arise

Spoken in true season
Prophecy hands the task
This season will not last
"Your latter shall be greater than your past"

Spoken in true season
The beginning will not be easy
Strength has been provided
The spirits wisdom will see you succeed

Spoken in true season
These lessons were your reason
Called for such a time as this
This is the life you're born to live

Speak in your season
For this is the reason
You've stayed alive to give

So shall it be

So shall it be
The blatant misunderstanding of words meant well
The actions of swaying love trying to grasp its root
Vehemently swinging for stability
Hold my hand… please understand

So shall it be
The shrewdly made up mind sparked to react
Upon sentences and bare tones you start to attack
Even plainly though brutish the wish is made
That you’d pick the meaning and not the way it’s phrased

So shall it be
Seen on the clearest of days
There’s nothing can be done, much to my dismay
I’ve said it once, I’ve said it twice, I’ve said time again
You’ve driven me to anger; I’ll make love to my pen.

Beautiful feet

the message was clear
"go ye into all the world and teach"
by this mean this message will reach the ear that heeded
but i reseeded

thought there were enough that could meet
in the street
in a seat or a corridor

called men that can ensue
follow through
serve me and you congregated in this pew
...show no retreat for these beautiful feet

you've changed your position
questioned your mission as the "perp"
now none can wear your number

you're the missing one for that zero
the wondering hero
the blinded son
your soul count is still none
...show no retreat for these beautiful feet

where's that fire you possessed
those words shut up in your bones
past daily receiver of those holy ghost tones
now where are you?

Grooping In the dark
Baring your soul...stark...
Naked in the arms of false love
Temporarily...blashpeming
...show no retreat for these beautiful feet

No longer can you run
Growing tired as the script gets repetitive
Circling the grove you now see you're under
We know you hate this weight

They've come 7 times stronger
Curiousity leads the march
This must be real, the mind draws the heat
...show no retreat for these beautiful feet

Laid on the backside of the earth
Gained no part of the world
Laying there soulless
Try escape in wonder

Only to stare faith in the face
The great escape is over
Learn, live, live, learn -word stoner
Show no retreat for these beautiful feet

Spark

These words may come as a surprise
or rather reassurance for what you ignore to feel inside
the thoughts that seep inside your mind
those words that wish to sooth you

the kind that doesn't say "i thought about you"
but the one that hides to say "i think about you still"
the words that shows no face
but longs to smile with you
in fear it skirms day by day to feel normal and subject

the thoughts that flow fluidly
and can never stop
but will always hide in the shadow of a day

to distract itself from everything that's you
for every normal reason
to hide itself in what was or what probably still is
in a parallel world

this time should not have been this way
when eternity stopped for but a second
to indulge a longer moment that became a lifetime
in the arms of another

poetry fits so well as our guise
look at what she's done to us
beautiful strangers in the day
as we lay together in the nights sky

all this to allow myself to say i miss you
all this to allow myself to say at this moment i do care
just to quickly feel that spark i knew
that spark i knew was you

Time will tell the tale

Time will tell the tale
Of seeds that became trees without being planted
Of unplanned days that held the dawn of the sleeping eye
Of the babe that weaned on strange breasts that ought to have died

Time will tell the tale
Of ships that sailed off course to journey to its destiny
Of lovers that have never met but knows one another's name
Of hearts that've reached their capacity but had the audacity to keep it wanting

Time will tell the tale
Of false moments that have tainted forever
Of deep scars that signed a long history
Of forgotten scents smelt and remembered to stretch a reluctant smile

Time will tell the tale
When there is no time left to tell it
When signs are all that's left
When memories are all that's right
And tales of time is all that ends

Pain to Pleasure

Pain to pleasure
The fusion of feelings that fuel confusion constantly
There's no middle ground
There's no left right to cling to in this misery

A flustered faith in state of seizure
Wild convulsions within a pillar
A totem pole of considerations multiplied by the stars
Freedom speaks behind grills and bars

Pain to pleasure
The likely uncertainty that's destined
A maddening place that cools
An oxymoron in motion
There can be no end, nor any beginning

This grows among thorns and cannot live without them
Pierced petals are pretty and perfect
Twisted torsos stem the tide of life
To feed this lust to live, though living in turmoil
A burst of calm in anxiety

Pain to pleasure
They call this poetry
Live horror in frugal words
Mayhem in verse

A flowing harmony
No middle ground still to be found
Even in paining eyes and pleasured fears
while quaking hands stem steady sorrow

This will make no sense
Yet the mind is clear of what it feels
The inevitability of this sense is not man made
But man made is the inevitability of the sense once angered

No bones will be broken
While all will be broken
Within this doubting message
All is sure
Where pain is to pleasure

The sea that spoke to me

Breath gave life to words
As that breath escaped me
Sailed with the wind to rest upon a still sea
That sea that spoke to me

A sea that sailors wished to sail
To course the wind to find their trail
They passed on shores and walked the tide
Seeking entrance for that ride

This sea, this sea that spoke to me
If life were only fair
This sea would see the best of me
If only it were near

Breath gave life to words
As that breath escaped me
Sailed with the wind to rest upon a still sea
That sea that spoke to me

We wondered why the grass was green
And why the wind was never seen
We wondered why we screamed and shout
And why the blood ran from our mouth

The wind was never crystal clear
That's why its there for all to hear
The grass that's green can cast a doubt
Try ridding science of whitened clout

Breath gave life to words
As that breath escaped me
Sailed with the wind to rest upon a still sea
That sea that spoke to me

He clasped his hands and said a prayer
His rattled thoughts spewed hopeless fear
His knuckles white and eyes shut tight
He wished she didn't come that night

They played a game the dead of night
The room too bright, took off the light
And now they layed their his thoughts blue
A few days after "boy is that true?"

Breath gave life to words
As that breath escaped me
Sailed with the wind to rest upon a still sea
That sea that spoke to me
